Today is my last day of babysitting. I'm on vacation for the summer. It doesn't mean I won't be seeing my sweet babies more times than not.

Besides catching up on some massive cleaning and decluttering, I hope to plant my body in a chair and write.

I need to set a goal.

The last time I did that, it worked. Nothing outrageous. Something simple: write for 1-2 hours every day, or a word count of 1k-2k.

Wish me luck.

  1. Good luck! Sounds like a good plan. I hope to do a bit of writing this summer myself, but AFTER moving into another place, once I find it. Ugh... I hate moving.

HAPPY TIME OFF and weekend, Cathrina!

  6. That word count is a good one! You'll definitely have a good chunk of your manuscript done by the end of summer if you do that. I write 1500-2000 words a day for my clients. That's how I make $$$. But getting my own fiction writing done is tougher, since payment for that isn't guaranteed.

    1. It's not a lot, but it's a goal I can reach, usually.
