  1. I've always loved the tale of Rapunzel. Even though Tangled isn't one of my favorite Disney movies, I still thought it was a fun adaptation.

And the voice of Rapunzel was Mandy Moore! :)

  3. I liked this version all right, but am getting tired of the blatant messages of "girl doesn't need boy" to win. I wish there were more of a balance and a little more subtlety...

  4. I'm afraid I haven't seen 'Tangled'. Although you're never too old for Disney-esque movies, in my opinion, my youngest are boys and my daughter maintains you can't beat 'Prince of Egypt'. I did giggle all the way through 'Hotel Transylvania' a few days ago...

  8. I haven't seen Tangled (shocking).... Last night I was catching up on a few recorded things on the DVR. One of the things I watched was an episode of the show Once Upon A Time. It constantly pulls in various fairy tale characters. Last night featured... Rapunzel. Ah, look how great that worked out:)

As for the actress voice. I think it's the girl from Glee... Can't remember her name!

  10. I enjoyed Tangled, but was surprised (I don't know why) at how many songs there were. Sometimes I just like to watch a movie, not a musical.

  11. And guess what? In Frozen our kids spotted Rapunzel in one of the scenes. Very clever those Disney folk.
