Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!
Let’s rock the neurotic writing world!
Our Twitter is @TheIWSG and hashtag #IWSG.
Alex's awesome co-hosts are J Lenni Dorner, Janet Alcorn, PJ Colando, Jenni Enzor, and Diane Burton!
If you could live in any book world, which one would you choose?
Ahhhh...My Dear Readers,
The Bridgerton Family would be a fabulous world to live in. I'd be welcomed into high society, part of the ton, of course.
Where I'd be attending numerous balls, dancing, and partaking in local gossip...
What book world would you like to live in?
I haven't seen the latest season yet. Shonda is a great writer though, so I can see why you'd pick this.
ReplyDeleteFor the IWSG July prompt asking which book world I would live in, I narrowed it down to three choices.
One is a short-story I published. One is from a popular series. And one is better known from television, but there are books. It's all on my blog.
Today's Google Doodle g.co/doodle/5m9rrry This is a tribute to Charlie Hill of the Oneida Nation, the first Native American stand-up comedian to be on a nationally broadcast television show.
Over at Operation Awesome, our Pass or Pages query contest is open this week with July's family saga genre. Know any writers who might want to enter?

Too many manners for me!! But if they all looked like the Bridgerton boys . . .
ReplyDeleteAhahaha. Too many manners for me too. I'd be an outcast for sure.
DeleteMight as well live it up right in a fictional world!
ReplyDeleteCan you dance like that? I'd be a total fail I'm afraid. Please give that book world a try and report back.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to learn to dance like that! Especially in those dresses. Oh, but wait... all that clothing and no air conditioning? Never mind.
DeleteI can't even imagine living like that.
ReplyDeleteBridgerton Family world sounds nice :)
ReplyDeleteI would totally not fit in. Ha! >_<
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, this site, like several others, wouldn't accept my Google account login. So I'm commenting as Anonymous. I'm Olga Godim from https://olgagodim.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could be a satisfying part of that world. Even if I lived there, I would be a maid in an inn, at best. None of my ancestors ever came close to aristocracy, in England or elsewhere.
Would that make you Lady Whistledown then? :D
ReplyDeletePlease read my post
ReplyDeleteOoh, good choice! I'd probably land in the universe as the scullery maid.
