@TheIWSG #IWSG #WritingCommunity #WritersSupport #WritersLife

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Let’s rock the neurotic writing world!

Our Twitter is @TheIWSG and hashtag #IWSG.

Feb. 2nd. Question: Is there someone who supported or influenced you that perhaps isn't around anymore? Anyone you miss?

When I finally pursued my writing journey, it was my mother who read all my novels. While she hadn't participated in the actual process, I could always count on her support.

It's been 3 years since I had to say farewell. I miss her terribly, but I still feel her in my heart. 💖

  4. My mother passed over ten years ago and she also read all of my books. Plus she bought extra to give as gifts.

  5. My heart goes out to you, Cathrina. My mother passed, too. I ascribe every odd noise in my house to her. I just can't let her go.

  6. Our mothers are always in our corner. Sorry you don't have yours anymore. Mine left about five years ago, and I miss her every day.

  8. A mother's love is to be cherished forever, even if only in your heart. So sorry for your loss, but I'm glad the memories are good. ❤️

  10. I always wish my dad could have read some of my articles. I wasn't even writing seriously when he passed. I'm glad you had your mom's support while you did.

  11. Mother's support is priceless. Mine couldn't read my writing - she doesn't speak English - but she is cheering me on nonetheless.

  12. It's strange, but I feel that I'm closer now to some people in my life who have passed and in a way their effect on my writing has only grown. We're never really apart :)

  14. I lost my mom in 2020, so I know that pain. I'm glad she was well enough to come to my first book release party. Big hugs.
