#celebratethesmallthings #Goals

Hop over to Lexa Cain's and add your name to this fun weekly hop.

Lexa's marvelous co-hosts are
L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge
Katie @ TheCyborgMom

My biggest celebration I didn't see. My very first grand baby took his firsts steps!!! Then I watched him the next day and guess what? No walky for gramma.
The weather's still very cold and we have snow flakes swirling, but it has to end sometime, doesn't it?

This hop originated by Mishe Gericke and The Five Year Project. Hop over to add your name here. It's a good way to keep tract of your goals.

Last month my goal was to add 5k to 10k to my WIP.

I added only 3k to my WIP, and then was interrupted.

Unexpectedly, I was asked if I wanted to write a short story for my new Untethered Realms Group for their new Anthology. And I was interested. So I accomplished over a 5k short story, which even surprised myself.

Although, after receiving my Editorial Critique from my newest book, who knows if UR will even want my short story. I'll let you know at a later date....

What are you Celebrating? Do you have Goals?

  3. Good for you on both count for writing, and I'm sure you'll see him take those steps next time. He probably just had performance anxiety. :)

  4. Yay to those 1st steps. Maybe he was just teasing his grandma...but I'm sure those steps will come soon enough. And then, he'll keep you on your toes!

  6. I'm sure you'll get to see those steps soon! Then the feet will start moving so fast they'll be a blur. Congrats on your short story! I was never very good at those. I think the snow is my fault. In my Celebrations post, I said the snow was melting. Of course, now it's snowing, so I must have jinxed it. :(

  9. Yay for your grandbaby's first steps even if you didn't see them. I'm sure he'll be walking so much soon that you'll wish he'd slow down! lol Don't let an editorial letter throw off your game. I'm sure your short story is fabulous and UT is lucky to have it. I don't keep track of how much I write a month, I just write and re-write until I'm satisfied. Some months that takes longer than others. Have a great weekend! :)
