Celebrate the Small Things

HEY! It's time to Celebrate the Small Things! The Linky List has been relocated to Lexa Cain's Blog. Go Here to join this weekly celebration.

1. Mom's out of the hospital and staying with me for the week.
2. Since the weather isn't cooperating, it was 10 below yesterday, I have desired aspirations to start a ritual of walking on the treadmill gathering dust in the basement. Now to--- Just Do It!!!

3. I've found bits & pieces of time to work on my sequel to Tallas.
(Hahaa...I hope I don't look that bad from the rear...note to self...must get on that treadmill)

4. Attempting to put together a few promotions for the release of Don't Forget to Breathe. (This causes me angst)
If anyone is on Facebook, I'm having my first ever FB Release Event on February 7th. There will be ebook prizes and a $25.00 Gift Card from Amazon. Go here to join: https://www.facebook.com/events/1585061445043407/?source=1

This isn't the cover of
'Don't Forget to Breathe' just a teaser.

The Cover Reveal will be on January 26th.

Have a Nice Weekend!

  1. I'm glad your mother is better.

I'd like a treadmill. Some people have a treadmill desk. That sounds like good multi-tasking.

  2. I only wish I were coordinated enough to do the treadmill. Instead I do long walks.
["Cold days too, Toto?" - not 10 below!] Best of luck on the promotions... and the sequel.

I also hope your Mom recovers soon (smile).

  4. Yay for the news that your mom is home from the hospital. Bet that's a relief. :-)
Oh, I hate treadmills. I've never been able to deal with them. Even when the highs are all of 15 degrees or lower I try to walk outside. I don't get to use all of my walking track like I do the other 3 seasons. It's safer for me to stick to the driving lane from here to the barn--about a 1/2 mile. Clears my brain and makes me feel better.
I'll try to stop by on FB.

  5. You have a full and balanced life. Glad your mom is better! I have a treadmill and actually use it...but it DID collect dust at first. Key to using was putting a flat panel TV directly in front (on the wall) with headphones that reach. I can watch a Netflix series (without the TV blaring) and not feel guilty watching too much TV. I mostly watch teen series since I write young adult. A win-win.

  6. I'm so happy to hear your mom's better! And yay for exercising, working on a sequel, and planning a new release. I can't wait for the cover reveal!

(There were a few incorrect blog addresses on the Celebrate hop's Linky. I visited every site, edited broken links, and it's all fixed now!)

  7. So glad your Mom is better Cathrina! You made me laugh with the picture of the person sitting at the desk and taking out your frustrations on the keyboard. You'll feel much better after working on the treadmill. Once you get going, it's easier with exercising. The hard part is starting.

  8. Finally got thru. Think my browser has a bug. Loved the pics today. Unless I start moving, my bottom will look like the one in the big guy pic. Have a good weekend!

  10. Glad your mom is doing better! I miss having a treadmill in the basement. I don't think I could fit one in my studio apartment...

  13. YAY to your cover reveal. I'd love to reveal it on my blog when you're ready if you're doing a blogosphere cover reveal. Let me know. I joined on Facebook.

I walk on my treadmill every day--it's either 20 degrees here or 100--there aren't many good 'walk outside' days!

  14. I'm glad your mom is doing better. I've never been able to use a treadmill. I always walked off the back of them. Love the photo of the woman biting the laptop. I can relate. Have a great weekend! Hope you get more writing time!

  15. Rain in Southern California is a blessing. I don't mind rain most of the time.

Sounds like you've got some great things going.

Treadmills are not for me. I'd rather just walk somewhere.
