Constantine Book Review: The Moon Dwellers

After reading The Moon Dwellers I can honestly say, David Estes is a gifted writer. Mr. Estes has created an intricate world below the Earth's decimated surface, and with the start of Chapter One the reader is on a fast paced journey.

You immediately fall for the spirited, fierce Adele, and the handsome prince Tristan. I don't like to leave spoilers, however, Adele escapes from her prison and is on a mission to rescue her family, and Tristan is on her heels due to the fact of an arcane painful pull to Adele. I'm clearly a sucker for hand-to-hand combat scenes and the timely swashbuckling with scraping of glinting swords, and The Moon Dwellers has plenty to hold my interest.

Needless to say Mr. Estes leaves the reader wanting more and I look forward to reading The Star Dwellers.

The Moon Dwellers Book Blurb:In a desperate attempt to
escape destruction decades earlier, humankind was forced
underground, into the depths of the earth, creating a new
society called the Tri-Realms. 17-year-old Adele, a member
of the middle-class moon dwellers, is unjustly sentenced to life in prison deep underground. When a war breaks out within the Tri-Realms, Adele must escape from prison and seek to uncover her parents' true past, armed with only a wicked roundhouse kick and two fists that have been well-trained for combat by her father. In her world someone must die.
