What does Christmas mean to you?
For me, it's the hustle and bustle of preperation. Shopping for the perfect gifts. Decorating the inside & outside of the house. I prefer a warm homey glow.
Our tree ~ 2016
Baking cookies is always a priority.
But as the blessed day draws near, I tend to switch gears into peaceful mode.
Silent Night. Blessed Night.
Jesus is the reason for the season!

DeleteI love that glow, too!!! Ours is kind of like yours...we just have white lights, though, but they spread across the mantle. I'm ready to take it all down, but we have company until next week, so I guess we'll be taking it down after January 1st. I'm one of those people who is done with Christmas the day it's over!
