#CTST Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things
Hop over to Lexa Cain's and join in this fun weekly Celebration. Lexa's wonderful co-hosts are:
L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge
Tonja Drecker @ Kidbits Blog

It's early Thursday morning as I'm writing this post. I'm sitting on the patio enjoying the fresh air and listening to the birds singing in the woods. The deer will be coming by soon and Murphy will rush the fence barking like a maniac. I love mornings, especially ones like this!
I took a morning pic.

I'm celebrating a new publishing contract with Crushing Hearts & Black Butterfly!!! My book is a YA/Coming of Age with historical elements. It takes place in 1969. I don't have a release date as of yet.

I have another YA/Fantasy which has been professionally edited and is ready for the query trenches. I've already received a full request.

I'm puttering along with my new WIP, and crawling over the 30k mark.

**Have a wonderful weekend**

  5. Cathrina, early mornings are wonderful. I miss getting up before sunrise, but with DH out of work we tend to sleep in due to sleep problems he's experienced for years. Congratulations on your new book contract. Your story line sounds interesting. If you need help promoting it, feel free to reach out to me and I'm always happy to assist when I can. Just so you'll know, when you left your blog address on my site, you forgot to include "blogspot" as part of the URL, which meant I got 'SERVER NOT FOUND" error message. However, Google found you by your name and I was able to visit this morning. Anywho, thank you for stopping by for a few laughs. I hope your weekend is funtastic! 9. Your property looks so shady, cool, and peaceful - lovely for summer (minus deer and barking dog). Huge congrats on the new contract from CHBB and good luck with the queries!

  10. YAY!!!! Congratulations. A reason to celebrate, to be sure. I can definitely get on board with a historical set within a time I can relate to. I was born in 1970, but it still feels like 1969 isn't all that different from the 70s I grew up in.

  12. A publishing contract! That is something to celebrate. We have a huge deer that comes into our yard, but no dog to scare it away. But tapping on the window works.
