#CelebrateTheSmallThings

Hop over to Lexa Cain to join in this fun weekly Celebration. Lexa's wonderful co-hosts are:
L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge
Tonja Drecker @ Kidbits Blog

I can't believe summer is winding down. As I sit here by the big picture window which looks out over my gardens, it seems like only yesterday when the flowers started to bloom.

My week has been frazzling, teeth grinding, and exasperating, scary, eager, and impatiently waiting for medical results. On the positive side I'm blessed beyond measure.

I've been extremely busy getting my revision's and editing completed for the re-release of Tallas on September 19th. Needless to say, my wip has been waiting in the wings for so long my characters have lost interest in me....

Do you have goals? What are you Celebrating?

  1. Medical results? Oh, those are always so agonizing to wait for, for sure. Sorry your WIP has been sidelined, too. Hope things go more smoothly for you next week!

  2. Waiting for news can be horrible. Hope the news was positive. My goal is to keep writing a decent word count every week once I go back to the regular day job in a few days time.
Hope you get to reconnect with your WIP soon.

  3. Prayers the medical results are good.
It's fun re-editing an older book, isn't it? Well, maybe not fun. More like satisfying when it's done.

  4. I can't believe how many leaves are on the ground already. It's still August! Prayers for you. I hate that we have to wait for news in this day and age. Why can't that stuff be instant?!!! I did write for a lab up in Minnesota that promises instant results. They are a medical practice/lab combo and they do all the lab work while you're there. That's how it should be everywhere!

  7. oh no, praying!!!! I had a public speaking teacher in college once that used to scoff at how nervous we'd get for our presentations. she was an ovarian cancer survivor. she always used to say "public speaking is NOTHING. the only tests worth getting nervous over are medical tests"
Hoping it all works out!!!!!!! xoxo

  9. Waiting for medical results is the pits. Best to just keep your mind of it by keeping it busy with other things.

  11. Gratitude isn't just appreciating that it's all good, but also that the good isn't irrelevant just because things are going wrong.

Hope the test results aren't bad news.

  14. I'm glad you have the revisions to keep you occupied while you wait. I hope your medical results are positive (in the good sense, not in the 'you tested positive for' sense...) :)

  18. Your characters will be pleased to see you when you get back to them. Besides, some time away from a WIP is always good for motivation.
