I can't believe summer is winding down. As I sit here by the big picture window which looks out over my gardens, it seems like only yesterday when the flowers started to bloom.
My week has been frazzling, teeth grinding, and exasperating, scary, eager, and impatiently waiting for medical results. On the positive side I'm blessed beyond measure.
I've been extremely busy getting my revision's and editing completed for the re-release of Tallas on September 19th. Needless to say, my wip has been waiting in the wings for so long my characters have lost interest in me....
Do you have goals? What are you Celebrating?
Medical results? Oh, those are always so agonizing to wait for, for sure. Sorry your WIP has been sidelined, too. Hope things go more smoothly for you next week!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for news can be horrible. Hope the news was positive. My goal is to keep writing a decent word count every week once I go back to the regular day job in a few days time.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to reconnect with your WIP soon.
Prayers the medical results are good.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun re-editing an older book, isn't it? Well, maybe not fun. More like satisfying when it's done.
I can't believe how many leaves are on the ground already. It's still August! Prayers for you. I hate that we have to wait for news in this day and age. Why can't that stuff be instant?!!! I did write for a lab up in Minnesota that promises instant results. They are a medical practice/lab combo and they do all the lab work while you're there. That's how it should be everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI've just sent my 3rd book off for editing, and am having the cover designed. Hopefully I can get it published in the near future.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my thoughts. Good thoughts! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help the re-release of Tallas. :) Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteoh no, praying!!!! I had a public speaking teacher in college once that used to scoff at how nervous we'd get for our presentations. she was an ovarian cancer survivor. she always used to say "public speaking is NOTHING. the only tests worth getting nervous over are medical tests"
ReplyDeleteHoping it all works out!!!!!!! xoxo
Maybe offer to bribe those characters of yours. ;-)
ReplyDeletePraying for those tests.
Waiting for medical results is the pits. Best to just keep your mind of it by keeping it busy with other things.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that you get news soon and that it's very good. You've accomplished a lot with your Tallas revisions! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGratitude isn't just appreciating that it's all good, but also that the good isn't irrelevant just because things are going wrong.
ReplyDeleteHope the test results aren't bad news.
I have been doing more editing than writing lately. Hope your medical results are good ones.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. Those characters will be back in no time. Best of luck with the medical results.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have the revisions to keep you occupied while you wait. I hope your medical results are positive (in the good sense, not in the 'you tested positive for' sense...) :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for the results!
ReplyDeleteExciting the book is almost ready and you have a WIP in the wings! Waiting is tough when it's for medical results. Sure hope that goes well. Sending prayers!
ReplyDeleteI have goals. I just can't find where I put them. You, on the other hand, are on a roll. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteYour characters will be pleased to see you when you get back to them. Besides, some time away from a WIP is always good for motivation.
