#celebratethesmallthings

If you'd like to join in, go to Lexa Cain's Blog. She's the awesome lady who's taken over this weekly celebration. And Lexa's wonderful co-hosts are: L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge
Katie @ TheCyborgMom.

My muse has returned!!!

I'd been almost afraid and leery to put words to my wip. For months, I'd written bits and pieces. And I don't know why.
This week I set a goal.
 I'd be happy with 1k a day.

Determined, I sat down at the computer, and little by little the characters began to speak to me. I guess they were waiting for the right path.
I'm striving to have the first draft completed by January 31st!

What are your celebrations this week?

  1. I am so happy for you! It's an amazing feeling when the muse returns. I've been feeling mine knocking at my door recently. Hopefully I can open it soon. But for now, go get'em for the both of us.

I found this really nice idea to liven up my basement stairs; turned out really cute.

  3. I'm delighted to hear your muse has returned and the characters are coming to life. 1k a day sounds like a lot to me (I usually shoot for 2k/week), but I'm sure you can do it! Have a great weekend! :)

  14. Yay for the muse! I've been struggling a bit creatively. Maybe I should try setting myself a reasonable goal and see what happens!
