My muse has returned!!!
I'd been almost afraid and leery to put words to my wip. For months, I'd written bits and pieces. And I don't know why.
This week I set a goal.
I'd be happy with 1k a day.
Determined, I sat down at the computer, and little by little the characters began to speak to me. I guess they were waiting for the right path.
I'm striving to have the first draft completed by January 31st!
What are your celebrations this week?
I am so happy for you! It's an amazing feeling when the muse returns. I've been feeling mine knocking at my door recently. Hopefully I can open it soon. But for now, go get'em for the both of us.ReplyDelete
Open the door SA. and let it in!Delete
How wonderful - January 31st! Glad the muse returned...ReplyDelete
I found this really nice idea to liven up my basement stairs; turned out really cute.
I'm delighted to hear your muse has returned and the characters are coming to life. 1k a day sounds like a lot to me (I usually shoot for 2k/week), but I'm sure you can do it! Have a great weekend! :)ReplyDelete
I'd been lucky to get in 1k a month so I needed to buckle down.Delete

Hurray for your muse returning! It's always so frustrating when they just disappear like that. Good luck wrapping up this draft by February!ReplyDelete
