#CTST Celebrate the Small Things

Hop over to Scribblings of an Aspiring Author to join in this weekly Celebration

1. I had a nice night out with friends. Good Food---Good Conversations

2. Yesterday a thunder & lightning storm rocked the house and our back yard flooded. Both scary and exhilarating.

3. Met with my book club and discussed a novel by Markus Zusak, I Am the Messenger. It's a wonderful book if you're looking for a summer read.

4. Had fun playing #LuckySeven....

Wanna play #Luckyseven ?

My Wonderful Friend and Romance Author Nana Prah tagged me in
the Twitter writer’s exercise—It’s time for Luckyseven snippet.
That means you post seven lines from your current work in progress.
Rules:
Go to page 7 or 77 in your current WIP.
Go to line 7
Post on your blog the next 7 sentence or 7 lines—as they are!
Tag 7 people and do the same

Here is a snippet from my current wip BEYOND & BACK to
TALLAS which is far, far from completion:
Dodging wreckage, earthen fissures, and flying construction, Doogan ferried the girl toward the outskirts of the city. Showering fragments spliced the air knocking Gus to his knees. He rolled and hopped to his feet as Doogan zigzagged past screeching, “Go! Go! Go!”
The earth groaned and wailed beneath them. It took all of Doogan's concentration and exertion to lope from the tangled metropolis. Finally he detected Fulvio astride a jouncing Zennith, waving his hat in the air screaming something.
