Join in this weekly celebration! Hop over to Scribblings of an Aspiring Author and add your name to the list.

My sequel to Wickedly They Come is in it's first round of edits. That's a small celebration.

I'm happy to get this posted on a friends laptop since mine is out of service for a while. Unfortunately, I might not be able to visit as many sites as I'd like. Please forgive me this week.

What are you celebrating?

My goals have literally swirled down the drain. Let's just say life can sometimes change our attitude and goals. My new goal, and this one I plan on reaching, is one final edit on my YA/Mystery.
What are your goals?

  2. Publishing three books. But yeah. My short term goals also all flushed down the drain.

  4. I'm gonna agree with those first rounds of edits. I've just started the editing/revising process for the first time and yeah, I need a shoulder to cry on and a blog to stalk. :)
So expect regular visits from me, Cathrina. It's really great knowing someone else is going through editing. I know Misha is as well. The company is so totally going to keep me from going nuts!

And this final edit on your YA Mystery is before you start sending it out to agents/editors?

    1. Actually, Hana, the YA/Mystery has been reworked and revised and now re-edited. I hate to give up on it...

  5. Right now I'm in a similar boat. My computer has decided to slow down so much I can do laundry between posts. Good luck with your mystery.

  10. Sometimes life gets in the way of our short-term goals, but as long as it doesn't derail our dreams, that's fine! Keep on trucking.

  14. I'm with you - I never give myself goals or deadlines because it's too easy to feel bad if you don't meet them. It's better to chill out and do the best you can. Life is too short to make yourself crazy. Have a good weekend! :)
