The Time Traveler's Wife was published in 2003 and was adapted to film in 2009. I did not have the pleasure of reading the book or the movie.
Enjoy the Preview:
Yesterday's Trivia Answer: Henry Cavill was the last to play The Man of Steel.
I saw this movie and loved it. I'd like to read the book to see if I get more clarity on the time travel aspect of it. It's a confusing concept.
ReplyDeleteLike Nana, I saw the movie and loved it! It was such an interesting premise and very well acted.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the film either.
ReplyDeleteI tried to read the book but couldn't get through it. It was a bit confusing to me. I wanted to like it, and I thought I would love it, but I just didn't. I haven't seen the movie, but maybe I should and then maybe go back to the book.
ReplyDeleteI'm like Debbie, I tried to read the book but couldn't finish it, I just didn't like it at all. I honestly thought I was the only person on earth who didn't so I was glad to read Debbie's comment! :D
ReplyDeleteLOL, Julie - I thought I was the only person in the world who didn't like it, too :)
DeleteI've been wanting to see it, too, but I get out to very few movies these days.
ReplyDeleteI have never read the book. I saw the film with my wife. It was a big reason she started watching Doctor Who with me.

ReplyDeleteI didn't read the book but I saw the movie. I liked it ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading the book. In fact, I just started it last night. Haven't seen the movie. I'm a little behind in a lot of things.

ReplyDeleteShells–Tales–Sails
I've read the book, but haven't seen the movie. Such a bittersweet love story.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it or seen it, but I would like to . . .
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this book. One of my all time favorites.
ReplyDeleteI missed out on this one, too...
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite books, and it makes me smile that people feel very strongly one way or another but nobody ever says, "Eh, it was okay." Love it or hate it, it seems.
ReplyDeleteI also saw the movie and thought they did a pretty decent job of it, but the book is so much more complex and explains things in a way the movie can't really cover.
