Strange that I've never seen this movie. Must be because our children were young and we'd have required a babysitter. That, and I'm not sure my husband would have wanted to. Maybe I'll check out Netflixs later today.ReplyDelete
The A-to-Z Challenge
Definitely check it out.Delete
That would be Cher.ReplyDelete
Now, snap out of it!
Cher is right, Alex.Delete
I ADORE this movie! Have watched it numerous times and it doesn't ever lose it's punch. My husband loves it as much as I do. Can't beat the chemistry between Nicholas Cage and Cher! I also loved Olympia Dukakis, the film wouldn't be the same without her... Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog... #atozchallenge2014ReplyDelete

Cher and Olympia Dukakis. This is one of my all-time favorites! I never tire of it. But I had no idea it was an adaptation.ReplyDelete
Right on both, Julie. It's really not adapted from a book, but great writers!Delete
This is my ALL TIME favorite movie, ever! I just love it. I think Olympia Dukakis won supporting actress for this movie. :-DReplyDelete
I can't even tell you how many times I've seen this movie, and I'm not one who usually does that. Great cast. Great warm and funny story.ReplyDelete

I haven't seen this one because my hubby really dislikes the cast, but you know, I just might take a girls night and watch it.ReplyDelete

I'm happy. I've heard of this movie. I don't think I ever saw it though. Back when Cher wore clothes, right?ReplyDelete
Aww...I love this film too :)ReplyDelete
I've only seen this movie once, though it was one of my mom's favorites. I was probably eleven or twelve when I saw it and it didn't stick with me. I might have to find it again and see it from an adult perspective instead of a bored preteen's perspective.ReplyDelete
