Yesterday's Trivia Answer: The adorable Shane West played Tom Sawyer in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Strange that I've never seen this movie. Must be because our children were young and we'd have required a babysitter. That, and I'm not sure my husband would have wanted to. Maybe I'll check out Netflixs later today.

Definitely check it out.
DeleteThat would be Cher.
ReplyDeleteNow, snap out of it!
Cher is right, Alex.
DeleteI ADORE this movie! Have watched it numerous times and it doesn't ever lose it's punch. My husband loves it as much as I do. Can't beat the chemistry between Nicholas Cage and Cher! I also loved Olympia Dukakis, the film wouldn't be the same without her... Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog... #atozchallenge2014

DeleteCher and Olympia Dukakis. This is one of my all-time favorites! I never tire of it. But I had no idea it was an adaptation.
ReplyDeleteRight on both, Julie. It's really not adapted from a book, but great writers!
DeleteThis is my ALL TIME favorite movie, ever! I just love it. I think Olympia Dukakis won supporting actress for this movie. :-D

Good Idea.
DeleteOh I remember this movie. Cher wore red pumps when they went to the opera. I love red pumps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping at my blog.
Yes!
DeleteI'm happy. I've heard of this movie. I don't think I ever saw it though. Back when Cher wore clothes, right?
ReplyDeleteAww...I love this film too :)
ReplyDeleteI've only seen this movie once, though it was one of my mom's favorites. I was probably eleven or twelve when I saw it and it didn't stick with me. I might have to find it again and see it from an adult perspective instead of a bored preteen's perspective.
