Thank You Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author. C'mon join in the fun!
We had a houseful of guests for a surprise birthday party for my son. And...
This past week was loaded with Floridian's!! My extended family came for a Northern visit. My niece had a blast playing in the snow, and I loved her rosy cheeks and giggling squeals of delight!
That picture was taken before it snowed 20 more inches!
What are you Celebrating?
Looks like you had a fun time!ReplyDelete
I'm still celebrating that I survived November. :-P
What a fun week you must have had. Hope the weekend is a great one too. :)ReplyDelete
Misha, yes, it was hectic and fun..Delete
Julie, I have another busy weekend planned.
Twenty more inches? Too cool! I bet those Floridians were freezing.ReplyDelete
20 inches! Please keep it. I don't want it. =)ReplyDelete
Holy madness with the snow O_OReplyDelete
Glad your son got family visiting and a surprise party, bet he had fun ;)
Wow! Look at that lovely white stuff. It's snow? I'm from California. We're snow deprived unless we drive to Lake Tahoe. :-)ReplyDelete
A good day in the snow and a rare treat for those Floridans....and fun for you!ReplyDelete
Alex, it hasn't stopped snowing since...Delete
Lisa, I actually like the snow.
SK, my son was totally surprised. Had a great time.
Lee, I've been to CA. Loved it.
Sharon, the Floridians were freezing. Haha...but loved it.
Happy Birthday to your son. Glad you are enjoying this holiday season. I'm celebrating a climate where snow is not allowed (at least for now).ReplyDelete
I'm celebrating the fact that our weather is cold and there is snow on the ground, but the roads are clear.ReplyDelete
So happy you had fun and everyone loved the snow!ReplyDelete
Happy weekend. D
Nana, you live in picturesque Ghana!ReplyDelete
Cathy, it's always good to have clear roads.
Deanie, Thank you, have a good weekend.
LOL I am not a winter person, so if I were your Florida family, I would have invited you down for a visit. Glad you all had fun :)ReplyDelete
It snowed 20 more inches? WOW! That's awesome about the surprise party for your son. I bet he really enjoyed it. Yay for a house full of guests during the holidays - such a nice feeling. :-)ReplyDelete
Rhonda, it was 85 in Florida the day they arrived in 20 degree weather, hehe...Delete
Lexa, It hasn't stopped snowing since. I believe we're past the 2 feet stage.
Aw, what fun! :DReplyDelete
But...twenty inches of snow? Whoa! (I've never experienced snow before, so that sounds like a lot to me, haha.)
Here's to having a blast in the snow! I'm celebrating: 1.) living at the beach in California, 2.) finding out my tooth does not have to be pulled--it's a sinus infection!, and 3.) having my YA horror story, Death House, get accepted for publishing (woo hoo!), as well as having my short story, "Christmas After All" released in an anthology called A Touch of Winter. Happy Holidays!ReplyDelete
20 MORE inches!! Crikey!!! hurrah to having a houseful of guests for it ;)ReplyDelete
Heather, Snow can be loads of fun!ReplyDelete
Carole, Congrats on your Story Death House!
Vikki, Thank you, it's still lightly snowing.
Sound like fun!ReplyDelete
It hardly ever snows in south Texas.
