Celebrate the Small Things

Come and join the fun with Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author in this blog hop. Each Friday we write a short post on what we've Celebrated during the week.

At the end of last week, I wasn't thrilled with my wip, and my agent said I was on the right track, but.... Needless to say, I began fresh. And now, I'm very pleased with the results thus far.

My new goal is to strive for the half-way point, or farther if I stay on track by October 1st. And with an outline progressively forming in my mind, I'm feeling confident.

I'm celebrating New Beginnings!

What Small Things are You Celebrating this Week?
I love to read your comments!

Also I'd like to give a shout out to two authors with releases coming up.

Dave Jackson's Tattoo Rampage: Release Date: September 15th!

Alex J. Cavanaugh's CassaStorm: Release Date: September 17th:

  2. Starting fresh is sometimes the only reasonable option. I've certainly been doing that this week with some of my comic strips!

Anyway, good luck reaching the halfway point by the first! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :)

    1. Thanks, Heather. It seems like such a waste, but it's for the best.

  4. The moment when you stop, take stock, realize that while you aren't where you wish to be (on a project) you know you WILL get there, and you have a plan! Celebrate-worthy, as are the releases coming up!

  9. So, did you chuck the entire thing and start over? Wow. That would be very hard if you had it mostly written. I am glad it worked for you:)

    1. Yes, chucked the entire thing. However, I might go back some day and look it over. Maybe I can salvage something at a later date.

  14. That's great that you listened to your heart and got your wip to where you are happy with it. That's the most important thing, if you ask me. :)

Congrats to the new releases and their writers! Writer’s Mark
