The
Promise
A bow of prismatic color radiates the sky
My eye sweeps the heavens as it dips by
Majestic and serene leaving all unseen
Head in the clouds to gather steam
For that one moment of breathing calm
Is like a poultice of soothing balm
God’s promise to behold
For as yet to unfold
