******A Minion is a follower devoted to serve his/her master relentlessly******
More from Wickedly They Come:
Unfazed, Seeley backpedaled, not from the death threat, but from a shadowy ghoul appearing on the woman’s shoulder. Beady eyes overlooked a pruned, gourd-like snout, its encrusted hide looked like it’d been salted and cured in the sun, and it had claws like needles.
Undaunted by hell’s emissary, Seeley said
evenly, “You have company.” She jerked her chin in the direction of the ghoul.
Frowning, the woman snarled, “What the hell does
that mean?”
“Exactly—a minion from hell is riding your
shoulder.”
That ghoul sounds terrifying! I especially liked the encrusted hide.

DeleteFun excerpt, Cathy. Very descriptive. Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie.
DeleteOh, nice! You are the second minion I've seen today... erm. That came out wrong. But you both had very different takes on it. I frequently try to recruit minions, but they're so needy!
ReplyDeleteMinions must be on the mind. Thanks for dropping in
DeleteHa - "exactly" - I like that line.
