Alex's awesome co-hosts for the July 3 posting of the IWSG are JS Pailly, Rebecca Douglass, Pat Garcia, Louise-Fundy Blue, and Natalie Aguirre!
July 3 question - What are your favorite writing processing (e.g. Word, Scrivener, yWriter, Dabble), writing apps, software, and tools? Why do you recommend them? And which one is your all time favorite that you cannot live without and use daily or at least whenever you write?
I've been using Word forever. I'm comfortable with it. I never tried anything else. I guess I'm a creature of habit.
I hope everyone is having a nice summer. During these summer months in West Seneca, NY, I'm looking at a sunny, beautiful day. The air is fresh, not humid, and I'm thinking of taking Murphy, (my dog) for a walk. Needless to say, I don't get much writing done because these summer days pass very quickly. Enjoy!!
I'm old-fashioned too and use Word like you. It's been gorgeous here too, and I've been really enjoying getting outside and working in my vegetable garden and flower beds.
ReplyDeleteI just use Word as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's Word for me, too. Enjoy the weather!
ReplyDeleteWord for me, too. And a lot of my time is taken up with my garden.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to write in summer. I have trouble staying put when the sun's out!

I used Word for a long, long time. I only switched because I switched to Mac, so now I use Pages. It's basically Apple's version of Word. There's almost no difference.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure all those other writing apps are great for some writers, but they sound too complicated for me. I just need to type words into the computer. The fanciest feature I need is the ability to make some of the words italics.
I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying your summer, Cathrina! Love your image at the end. It's really true. Have a great 4th!
