May 4 question - It's the best of times; it's the worst of times. What are your writer highs (the good times)? And what are your writer lows (the crappy times)?

The best of times is writing a decent draft, and happy with the outcome. The worst of times is not having a single thought of what to write next.

Today is is a good day for me as I release my 11th novel.

Secrets ~ Lies and Sorrow are Lurking in the Shadows...

No blood. No body. No murder.

That's what the police found after Penelope spun her bizarre tale. In a hysterical state, she said her father was butchered and eaten by a mob of birds ~ in her bedroom.

They claim she's crazy.
That she suffers from delusions.
Penelope is dead set on proving them wrong.

After being institutionalized for eight months, Penelope is out and more determined than ever to find answers to her so-called hallucinations. With her father's untimely disappearance, she's convinced her family is hiding something sinister.

  5. It truly is a great feeling to complete a decent draft. Unfortunately, it's the editing that always bogs me down... Congrats on releasing your new novel!

  9. Oh my gosh, how exciting! Congratulations! And the plot sounds darkly delicious!

I'm just starting on draft two of my novel. Draft one does not remotely resemble the state of 'decent.' 🤣
