#IWSG @IWSG

Join Alex J. Cavanaugh and a multitude of writer's in this monthly hop to help support one another!

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds

Alex's awesome co-hostsare J.H. Moncrieff, Natalie Aguirre, Patsy Collins, and Chemist Ken!

If you could use a wish to help you write just ONE scene/chapter of your book, which one would it be?
(ex: fight scene/ first kiss scene/death scene/chase scene/first chapter/middle chapter/end chapter...etc.

May I ask for two wishes??? 🤣 LOL. 🤣

Well.... If I only get one wish...

Then I wish I could get help with my endings. I find myself rewriting, revisioning, and rethinking them with every book.

I could go on and on~ but I'll stop there with some quotes:

  1. Yes, that point right before the climax when your main character must hit rock bottom is hard to get right. Thanks for the inspiring quotes. Especially liked the Julie Andrews one.

  2. Awesome quotes! Endings are so tricky. As a pantser, I often get held up there even though I want to rush right through to be done.

  3. That's because there is so much pressure on making a great ending.
    Like the first quote!

  6. Ha! I love that first quote. So funny yet so true.

Quick note: You will need to update your blogger profile so your link to this blog is included when you leave comments. (To get here I had to look up your name on Google to find that link)

  7. Nothing wrong in asking for two wishes... if you don't ask, you'll never know what the universe has in store.
    Happy Writing!

  8. Love the Jack London quote. The middle is my hardest part. Good luck!
