Sorry I missed last weeks post.
It's sweltering in Buffalo, along with the rest of the country. On the positive side, it's better than a blizzard.
That's Murphy standing on top of 3 feet of snow in the middle of the street after the November storm in 2014.
I've been striving to walk 1-2 miles a day. Sounds easy, but...
I hit 26K on my WIP. Still pushing for 1k a day, but life just seems to get in the way.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend!
I don't know - it was a hundred degrees here yesterday and that snow is looking mighty good right now.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean.
DeleteGood job on all you've accomlished, Cathrina. Walking 1-2 miles a day is a lot! I'm sure you'll have a lovely celebration with your friends.
ReplyDeleteThank you Deanie.
DeleteI'm with Alex. For me, it's far easier to deal with cold than extreme heat. Yay for your progress on your WIP and have a great time Saturday night!
ReplyDeleteI'm spoiled with air conditioned house!!!
DeleteI'm over in Rochester, so I don't know what a blizzard is like. As long as we don't lose power, I would chose three feet of snow over day after day of this blazing sun. I'm weird like that.
ReplyDeleteI actually like the snow too!!! Hey, you live close by!!!!
DeleteWeather not so great here at the moment! Sunny this morning though so will take that . . . our summer so far has been quite warm and damp!I'm trying to walk lots too, it's great exercise. Hope you enjoy your evening with friends and the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzanne.
DeleteI prefer hot to cold. Congrats on your walks and your WIP!

Thank you . Yvonne.
DeleteHave fun tonight! Yes, someone in our Facebook community group posted pictures of last winter's snowstorm to remind us to be grateful. It worked!
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't give for one dive into that snow...as a cool off. Have fun tonight!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean.
DeleteThat snow looks inviting. I'm sweltering most of the time. Why isn't there just a middle earth kind of place with perfect temperatures?
ReplyDeleteHaha...Hawaii they say is paradise... :)
DeleteI agree. Heat is way better than blizzard any day. Happy writing.
ReplyDelete26K? That's pretty epic. You must have a pretty solid beginning then. I remember snow like that. (We lived in Oswego before moving to Florida. Hm. Wonder why we made that move?)
