I'd like to give some advice~~ If at all possible, never, ever release a book around the holidays. Besides family obligations, shopping, wrapping presents, cooking, baking, sending Christmas cards, and finding time for promoting my new release, I was losing it.
And my craziness isn't over. My daughter is expecting baby #2 on February 13th!!! YAY!!! AND, Wickedly They Dream will be Re-Released on February 20th.
I didn't make any New Years Resolutions, however, I would like to slow down and take a breather.
Have a Good Month!!!
Congratulations on the imminent arrival! I appear to have got my book release schedule muddled with my personal life too. I'm expecting baby No 2 this spring and have left myself just a few months to write, edit, and publish the second book in my series. Oops!

DeleteWhat an adorable cat pic! I sure hope you get to take a breather during the next two months even with the baby and the release happening. You have to take time for yourself, otherwise it isn't worth it.
ReplyDeleteI will. Thanks Lexa.

ReplyDeleteThank you TBM.
DeleteHey, breathers in my opinion are very good:) Happy new years!
ReplyDeleteTaking a breather sounds good! Although my word for the year is "strong" as in live strong, write strong, etc - I think that part of gaining that strength has to come from a good rest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your re-release and on your soon-to-be-here grand baby!
You totally deserve to chill like that kitty!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the good stuff that's keeping you whirling.
Down time is good. Enjoy your breather!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
