An aging Pat Garrett is hired as a lawman on behalf of a group of wealthy New Mexico cattle barons--his sole purpose being to bring down his old friend Billy the Kid.

    We vacationed in Riodosa NM some time ago and visited the Billie the Kid places. Funny how a bandit and killer is an icon in the west.

    I'm wracking my brain, trying to remember if I did see this movie. I certainly remember Dylan's song. Love it still.
