To the Insecure Writer's Support Group!!

I'd like to thank Alex for this fantastic group!! And all the co-hosts over the years and helpful writer's that keep the IWSG site's thriving!! I've met wonderful people and have been given expert advice and people have calmed my neurotic writer's nerves since I joined this great group!!


I started the month of August with mountains of insecurities, though, they've dwindled considerably. After piling up rejections, a few partials and a couple of full on my ms, and receiving emails saying, great potential, but this is a pass, or your premise sounds interesting, but...Lots of buts...

 I finally received an offer and I'm suddenly dancing on a cloud. Although, I understand there's lots of hard work still ahead.
On September 8, The A-Z Team are hosting a sunflower tribute Remembering Tina Downey (click link to take part).

    Cathrina CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I've been querying all summer too, but I'm glad some smart, savvy agent/publisher snapped you up.

    I'm getting the same rejections. Great premise, but... At least you had a few requests for fulls and partials. I am dreaming of that day. LOL. But for now I am THRILLED for you! Congrats again!

    YAY for three years of INSECURITIES... I am one honored to say I am one of the first to join! Such a great group....

    It's these little nuggets of hope and encouragement that keep us going when we might feel like giving up. Congrats on your success this summer, I wish you all the best as things progress :)
