I love to Celebrate the Small Things
This week Western New York was hit with Blizzard 2 for the season. And we were prepared! I did not hear of one fatality due to the storm. That's a celebration!
Murphy Jack Applesauce (my dog) loves, loves the snow. It makes me laugh to see him rolling and rooting in it.
I totally changed and reworked the ending to my ms due to the advice of my critique person. This took all week and I believe, I hope, it's finally finished. But like most writers, I'll be breezing through rewording and all that other crazy stuff.
Thanks to Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author for starting this awesome Celebration. Hop on over to her site and join in the fun.
your puppy looks just like mine! <3!
ReplyDeleteand good for you, finishing your MS - crit partners are the best for alternate perspectives and insight!
happy friday - and let's hope that was the LAST blizzard for the season. come on spring!
We love are dogs, right? Waiting for spring.
DeleteAw, your dog is so adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteHe is, thanks Heather.
DeleteDogs are such a pleasure. Yours is too cute.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the reworked ending really pulls your MS together. It is a blessing to have CP who critique constructively.
Thank you Robin.
DeleteNo one died - that is a blessing!
ReplyDeleteDogs are so funny in snow.
As far as I know, in our area, no one died. Thank God.
DeleteLove your dog. Glad the snow didn't cause too many problems. Congrats on your writing and editing this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzanne.
DeleteWoot! Accomplishing a major rewrite feels so good, doesn't it? Cute dog! And very good news that no one died.
ReplyDeleteYes, it feels good.
DeleteYay for everyone staying safe from the blizzard and finishing your MS!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI wonder if dogs like snow because it doesn't smell. If you're bombarded by a million smells a day, maybe it's nice to get a respite. Congrats on your rewriting - and yay for CPS. They're priceless. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lexa.
DeleteCPs are excellent for seeing things we sometimes can't - sounds like you have a good one! Good news about the blizzard too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nick and thanks for dropping by.
DeleteOh, the winter this year has been quite the story lately, especially back east. Stay warm and good luck with your manuscript!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter named him after a dream she had.
DeleteLove, love, love your dog's name! And I'd celebrate too! Here in MA we were supposed to get that same snow, but it turned into rain...sigh for the skiier!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Randi. Yep too slushy for skiing
DeleteWhat a beautiful dog you have. And congratulations on finishing your new story.
ReplyDeleteThank you Vanessa.
DeleteMy dog used to love the snow, too. His fleas did not, so both the dog and I were joyful. Great that you guys were prepared for the storm and no one was injured. Here's to more writing successes!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lee.
